11-10-04 There were Electronic voting machines in Broward county Florida that their programs as set by the manufacture that when they reaches 3200 votes that they would count backwards. there was a patch to fix the problem but When it was sent to Florida the person in charge refused the patch and said they would implement it in the 2006 election. With that in mind as well as the other issues brought up (see 2004 Election Sedition Page) For George W. Bush to have won Florida he would have had to win 100% of all Republican votes, he also would have had to win ALL the Independent votes and at least 15% of the Democratic vote. In another issue nationwide there was a perdition that there would be a record turnout. Many pools knowing this put LESS voting machines than were available in the primaries. This is a direct violation of the Federally mandated voter act. There were also many percents that had few or no provisional ballots. Oddly enough these issues were prevalent in percents that had higher numbers of Democratic voters as well as minority's.

One other item I may have said it before but it needs saying again. The youth of America did show up, to the tune of 4.7 million more voters than the last election. They became engaged and they acted. They are a new force that should not be ignored. We need to listen to their needs and include them in our platforms as we move foward.

No further evidence needed - a recount MUST be done - and possibly another national election using ONLY paper ballots, hand counts, and observers making sure all counts are valid. I don't trust these computers AT ALL! We should have the UN observe!

11-09-04 Did you Know that the votes from the electronic voting machines are modeled in by RAS (remote access server) and counted on a windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system? Did you know that the software was never tested for security flaws, and that there was and probably still is several ways to comprise (hack into) the software. You do know that Windows is a very reliable operating system that never has any problems, with impeccable security. As any of us who use a windows based computer know that it never once had one single problem. Never once had a virus. Never once had it's security compromised. Now doesn't that make you feel better about how your vote was counted?

11-08-04 Someone called in to Air America that their state is using paper ballots that you fill out with a marker provided and then you put it through a optical scanner to register your vote. Well an odd thing happened. The scanners cannot for what ever reason cannot read alcohol based markers, and guess what? You guessed it they provided alcohol based markers.

Exit Polls From 9 States Shoe That The Electronic Voting Machines Have A Definite Problem

I have heard a lot of talk on the radio and on the Internet about how there was problems in Ohio with Touch Screen Voting (Black Box Voting). (See Vindy.com). Than there was talk about problems in Florida. Than problems in the Carolinas, just this morning more talk from another state Georgia. Well I still have seen no one connect the dots. If all these machines are connected together than who is to say that in the central location that you just peal off 200 to 300 thousand votes from each state to now give the National appearance of Bush winning. As I wrote about earlier (See Past Posts Sept 27 04) when everyone was talking about the polls were off, I brought up the reasoning that the polls had to be slanted now so that later when Bush wins it won't come as a surprise.

First: Compare the exit polls from places with black box voting, to places that did not use black box voting. I suspect a pattern will start to emerge which is that the exit polls will only be unusually off in the places using black boxes.

Second: Compare the total vote count with the actual count of voters that showed up. All polling places have books that they use to see who you are or if you're registered that you must sign before you vote.

Third: Until the black boxes are removed than we must only vote by absentee ballot in places that use black box voting, and the candidates should tell that to all their voters when they are campaigning.

This may sound a little over the top but when you stop think about it for just one minute it is not that far off. If it can be done in one state as everyone seems to think why not take the next logical step after all they are all connected together.

If any of this makes any sense at all than send it to any other political web sight you go to tell other people about it. Spread the word. Send links to this editorial to everyone you know.

There is all kind of talk out there about what the Democrats did wrong, and no one is addressing the heart of the problem... the black box. If indeed the turnout was more in favor of the Democrats. Now we loose due to the black boxes it is not just a defeat... it is a hard swift kick in the gut to everyone that voted, because somehow deep in our heart we know that historically we should have won. Now not only an election is tainted but also the Democratic Party is demoralized causing dissention and division.

In every state that these black boxes have showed up in there has been nothing but trouble. People have been fighting against them from the start in their communities (See Links Below) but now it is time to take up the cause nation wide. We were better off with the hanging, swinging dimpled, pregnant chards. In the event of a recount you can actually pick up the ballot and look at it not just a final count from a central computer. With the lever voting machines you would have to have a large conspiracy to rig every machines because each one stands alone and than each one is looked at separately and than totaled together. Black boxes are totaled in a central location that takes only ONE PERSON to change the vote count nation wide. Until the Black Boxes are gone and relegated to the scrap heap nationwide there can never be another election held in this country without the perception of it having been tainted.

11-4-04 New report about black box Voting from the Carolina's. Thousands of votes were lost due to a problem with touch screen voting Machines. The machines were said to have a capacity for 10,500 votes only to later find out that they only capable of holding 3,005 votes.

As I watched the election results last night on CNN they kept talking about Ohio and have dismissed Florida as a win for Bush. Ohio will play itself out, but let’s go back to Florida and the question the CNN staff kept asking; If the exit polls were all showing Kerry with a lead, how could we have gotten the polls so wrong? In fact, the exit polls were so consistently for Kerry that even Tucker Carlson was saying it looks like a Kerry win while Robert Novak a Bush insider remained smug and confident. The question they should have been asking is; If the exit polls were all showing Kerry with a lead, why is the Florida official vote count just the opposite? Is there something wrong with the Florida vote count? Is the difference greater in areas that use electronic voting machines with no paper trail? Is the state, run by the president’s brother, doing something to alter the count and make the results contradict the exit polls? Why do we assume the polls are wrong? We should start asking some new questions before we or CNN assume the polls are incorrect.

Why is it mainstream news is not reporting Black Box Voting boxes had reported minus 25 million votes on a single machine. There was also software meltdowns in Ohio and some polls had to use paper ballots. One poll had over 2,000 ballots printed and they still needed more.

Mahoning and Mercer — the only counties in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys to use electronic voting machines and among only a handful in Ohio and Pennsylvania with the technology — encountered a series of problems that delayed results for hours Tuesday.

The Mahoning County Board of Elections will begin an investigation immediately to find out the sources of the problems, said Mark Munroe, the agency's chairman.

Problems in 16 of the county's 312 precincts caused the results in Mahoning to be held up for about three hours as election employees checked the machines' tallies at the election board. The results are supposed to be tabulated at the precinct locations. The results were finalized about 1:30 a.m. today. The county has 1,162 electronic voting machines.

Of the 16 precincts, 11 were in Youngstown, two in Boardman, one in Jackson Township, one in Craig Beach, and one in Washingtonville.

Some of the machines malfunctioned, others had problems with the personal electronic ballot cartridge placed into the machines before each vote to count the ballots, and other problems were caused by human error, Munroe said.

The human error specifically was precinct officials getting nervous or overwhelmed by the number of people voting, and then failing to properly follow protocol to count the ballots in the machine, he said.

There were similar problems at four or five other Mahoning precincts, but poll officials there were alert enough to catch the problems, and fix them, said Thomas McCabe, deputy elections director.

There were other problems with Mahoning machines. One in Boardman Precinct 44 had to be removed because the glass on top of the electronic screen was too far from the screen, making it difficult for people to use their fingers to cast ballots, Munroe said. A screen went blank on a Youngstown voter while he cast his ballot, he said.

Also, there were 20 to 30 machines that needed to be recalibrated during the voting process because some votes for a candidate were being counted for that candidate's opponent, Munroe said.

There are a variety of reasons for that problem, including static electricity, Munroe said. Munroe said he strongly believes that the calibration issue didn't mark people's votes improperly because when a vote is cast for a candidate, their name is lit up in bright blue and the name comes up as a review of a vote before it is finalized.

Also, about 300 paper absentee ballots were damaged while being opened in Mahoning, McCabe said. The county used smaller envelopes than usual, and damaged 300 absentee ballots, but didn't destroy them. A Democrat and a Republican remarked the damaged ballots, he said.

Mercer County's director of elections said it was a computer software glitch that caused touch-screen voting machines to malfunction in about a dozen precincts Tuesday. The election board didn't finish counting ballots in Mercer until about 3:30 a.m. today.Election workers in Mercer County raced to take paper ballots to polling places in the Shenango Valley after a series of computer errors.

"I don't know what happened," said James Bennington, who had been assured Friday that all 250 of the county's touch-screen units had been checked and rechecked. The county has 100 voting precincts.

Keith Jenkins, director of the county's computer department, agreed that it was a software malfunction and said repeated calls to UniLect Corp., the company that sold the machines to the county in 2001, failed to resolve the problem.

Mercer County commissioners, doubling as the county election board, vowed to investigate, noting the probe was started immediately to find out what happened, why it happened and how it can be prevented from happening again.

Bennington said the county prepares the ballot for the "infopacs" that are inserted into the machines but that UniLect licenses that software. The ballot was prepared correctly, he said, adding that most of the serious computer glitches occurred in the southwestern part of the county that is part of the 4th Congressional District.

Precincts in Hermitage, Farrell, Wheatland, West Middlesex, Shenango Township and Sharon experienced the most serious machine difficulties, some from the moment the polls opened at 7 a.m. Some machines never operated, some offered only black screens and some required voters to vote backwards, starting on the last page of the touch-screen system and working back to the front page.

Some of those systems never came back on line, leaving poll workers to resort to handing out paper ballots for people to cast their votes. The county had about 2,000 paper ballots prepared in advance for emergencies, but the problem was so great that "a couple thousand more" were printed and hauled out to the precincts as they ran low or ran out of ballots.

Bennington said some precincts in Hermitage, Farrell, Wheatland, Shenango Township and West Middlesex never got their machines back on line. The end result was thousands of paper ballots that workers at each precinct had to count and add to the total votes.

James Epstein, Mercer County district attorney, said there was no evidence that the problems were deliberately caused or the result of a criminal act. It was basically a machine malfunction, he said, adding that the election board will investigate the situation.

Some glitches also marred voting in Trumbull and Columbiana counties, but nothing serious enough to cause major disruption.

In Trumbull County, a voter in Warren Township precinct D arrived at the polls to discover that someone had already voted in her name. The person who used her name apparently forged her signature and wrote that she lived at a different address, said Josh Garris, a Republican observer at the Trumbull elections board.

After being told by precinct judges that she had already voted and could not vote again, she came to the board of elections, where she was allowed to cast a regular ballot, Garris said. Officials will investigate.

Police were called to a polling station in Riverview Apartments in Warren Precinct 1B after a man refused to stop hanging signs on a fence outside. The fence was within the immediate area of the polling station entrance where political activity is prohibited, assistant board director Rokey Suleman II said.

Both the Democratic and Republican challengers posted at Warren 2E were tossed from the polling station after precinct judges complained they were disruptive, officials said.

"It was a pretty smooth election," Suleman said. "With all the problems that could have erupted, none did."

The Trumbull elections board met Tuesday, and rejected 53 absentee ballots because of problems with signatures. Most of those rejected bore no signature. Others had been signed by someone other than the person casting the ballot. The board received nearly 13,000 absentee ballots for the general election. That compares to about 8,500 absentee ballots for the 2000 general election.

There are over 10 Million votes the have not yet been counted. Across the country. There are counties in New Mexico that have dramatic under voted for their registration. Oddly enough they are in Heavy Democratic percents.

FLORIDA again is within the range for a recount and is not talked about on the news. There is over 1.6 Million absentee ballots that the Democrats had lobbied heavily for their party to do so in that state because of Black Box Voting or the Electronic Touch Screen Voting that have NO paper back up. These votes MUST BE COUNTED.

OHIO has over 250,000 UNCOUNTED PROVISIONAL BALLOTS to be counted. There are an unknown amount of of absentee ballots to be counted.

WHY IS IT THAT ALL THE EXIT POLLS SHOW THAT THE LARGER MARGIN OF VOTERS SAID THAT THEY VOTED FOR JOHN KERRY

THIS IS IT THAT THE OPPOSITE RESULT WAS IN THE AREAS WHERE THEY USED ELECTRONIC TOUCH SCREEN VOTING THAT HAVE NO PAPER BACK UP

THERE ARE PEOPLE CALLING IN FROM FLORIDA THAT THERE ARE COUNTIES THAT IN SPITE OF HEAVER VOTER TURNOUT ARE REPORTING THE SAME AMOUNT OF VOTES THAT WERE IN IN THE 2000 ELECTION THAT'S AT LEAST A 30% UNDER VOTE. THE REPUBLICANS STRATEGY IS TO STOP COUNTING AND DECLARE VICTORY.
