There will never be a settlement with China, with these trade wars, unless China wants one, and they have been preparing for years.

Remember when George W. Bush was elected and in the first few months into his presidency we lost a spy plane over China?

Yes George got it back but what few news outlets reported on we got it back dismantled... can you say reversed engineering, that was almost 20 years ago now, and Bush did nothing, but boast “We got it back”

Trump is using economic sanctions like a weapon, to get his way with countries around the world now from the time he got into office.

China knew this and had planned for a way of surviving and fighting back, long before Trump was elected.

I have followed this for months now and have seen it coming.

This is going to be another failed “Business Deal “for Trump, but this time, he is going to put the entire United States economy up to loose. As I said before thanks' to American companies wanting cheaper labor in China, and gutting American production, China is in the cat bird seat when it comes to Trade Wars.

Not only do we produce very little manufactured good, if we started to try to rebuild it again tomorrow we would need years to even start. We not only need to build the factories, and machinery to put in them,  but we no longer have the trained labors to work in them.

All of Trumps Bellicose bluster as of the last few weeks from wanting to buy Greenland to how great the American economy is doing has all been smoke and mirrors to stop people from actually seeming what is going on. His demanding that the fed cut interest rates is EXACTLY WHAT YOU ONLY DO WHEN THE ECONOMY IS BAD. His talking about more tax cuts is again what you do in a bad economy, to help revive it.

This tax cut idea is to further allow the rich to plunder whatever value is left in their companies with stock buy backs to inflate the companies prices so as to sell their privately owned shares and but the bill on the company, and the government one last time before the fall. Because as before the tax cut cost the American economy nearly 2 Trillion dollars, something you do not do when you need every penny is go out and borrow more money.

Watch this news broadcast. It shows you how China is not backing down from the fight that Bully Trump put the US in.

Soon Trump will not be able to hide it anymore. Oh one more thing China is not in this alone, every country that Trump has sanctioned or put tariffs for no apparent reason is either in it or potentially will be in it with China, Why? Because people wherever you go in the world, no one likes a bully. So now what is Trump going to do, put sanctions on them, put tariffs on them if they do not do what he wants?

Oh he already did that, now what?

Start shooting, Oh we are already doing that, we are bombing 8 countries, and illegally occupying them in the name of fighting terrorism.

Small fact the Taliban now occupies more land in Afghanistan then they did 18 years ago when we first went in.

Why won't we leave?

We want the 9 Trillion dollars in minerals that are there, that Russia found while they were in their war with them.

So why is Trump trying to weaken the dollar?

The Strong Dollar is good for the American Consumer in this system that the corporate structure set up by moving millions of American Companies, along with the firing of American workers ove seas.

It takes fewer dollars to buy the products that are no longer produced domestically.

Strong dollar means that it is caused by inflation and that is bad for the average consumer.

So why is it we are told that there is little or no inflation?

Consumer spending accounts for approximately 70% of the US economy, and a stronger dollar is a net benefit for this prime driver of the economy. It makes imports cheaper, so everything from noodles to luxury automobiles should cost less

The effect of a stronger dollar on financial markets is also mixed. Perhaps the most direct impact of a rising greenback is its adverse impact on corporate earnings. This was a major reason why the S&P 500 had its biggest decline in a year in January 2015.

The appreciating US dollar is a net positive for the US economy, as robust consumer demand and muted inflation results in strong economic growth, offsetting negative effects such as the impact on exports and corporate earnings.

Again I ask why Trump is trying to weaken the dollar.

It could also be, but this is just speculation, he is invested in foreign companies and stands to lose countless sums of money with a stronger dollar.

Well let’s just look at his tax filings… Oh we can’t our democratic resistance is failing to just send the Sargent of arms to the IRS and demand the records, that is fully in their power to do so, WITHOUT all this nonsense of we have to go to court. What they are doing is like being found guilty saying; no I’m going to sue for finding me guilty.

As the U.S. dollar strengthens against the currencies of its trading partners, it takes fewer dollars to purchase imported goods, and the prices of imported goods into the U.S. tend to fall. In another way of putting it is that if we produced our products domestically again we would not need to be dependent on imports thus, this entire argument would mean nothing to the American consumer. IE: Sony once made the best TV on the market and it would cost more, say $350.00 compeered to an American TV for $250.00 now, back then, $100.00 was a lot of money but if you felt you really wanted the Sony you paid the differences. But most Americans bought the American products, because they felt the difference in quality was not worth the extra cost. Oh and one way for the cost increase was by, you guessed it, tariffs, that went back into the US Treasury.

Could this be the reason why Trump wants his cake and eat it too?

You see the Fed raise inflation so as to raise interest rates. The Fed needs a reason to increase interest rates because when there is a recession or even a depression you need to lower interest rates to spark consumer spending. The lower the interest rates are at the start of the down turn the less simulative effect that they have.

Trump wants lower interest rates and a weaker dollar, two things that are opposed in this current momentary financial system. In other words it can’t be done, or done for very long, without manipulation of the money supply. He needs the low interest rates to offset the payments to the national debt to try to make his massive tax cuts not look so bad, as well as make the payments to the banks for his16 trillion dollar deficit spending especially on the military when we are not at any declared war. When all totaled the military spending, between actual budget and off budget spending tops out at just over 1 trillion dollars this year alone and due to increase next year.

Could that be why we are constantly told when we can’t afford any programs for the Average American citizen, or to just do the normal repairs and upgrades on our water infrastructure, our schools our bridges, our healthcare system? When the way to pay for any of that is worked out, it is shot down because Nancy Pelosi wants to institute Pay-Go for any progressives issues, and they say to themselves thank you for finding that money then precede to add it to the military budget or NSA surveillance network, and immediately spend it there and say nice idea progressives but we can’t afford it now.

Where was Pay-Go when expanding the military budget by 32 billion dollars? I’m just asking.

Just one other item I need to Say.

I am sick and tired of hearing about the 1 to 2 trillion dollars in tax cuts given to the wealthy, and the pundits act as though it is written in stone and can never be undone. WHY…This is a complete lie. 

Let me tell you a little story. 

Did you ever wonder why when you see an elephant it has it's leg chained to the ground on a stake and why is it a very large and powerful animal just doesn't walk away? Because, you can plainly see the elephant is more than strong enough to just lift it's leg and pull the stake out of the ground.

 It because of conditioning. 

You see, from the time the elephant is a baby, it is chained to the ground with a stake that it cannot pull out of the ground because the elephant, is too small, and for years while that elephant pulls on the stake with his leg, the stake does not move, and in the beginning it hurts it's leg. Growing up the elephant realizes it cannot free it's leg and over time it tries less and less, exerting less force because the elephants leg does not get hurt as much. Until on day the elephant just gives up trying because that way the elephant does not hurt it's leg anymore. The elephant just resigns itself to it's fate, that it will never free it's leg and that the person that unlocks his leg is a master to be respected, because how could someone so much smaller than the elephant free it from it's chains. Even though the elephant as an older more powerful animal the elephant never realizes it can just lift it's leg and be free, due to the years of conditioning.

Unfortunately we are the elephant and don't know it.

Just elect real progressives and TRUE PROGRESSIVES. Look into their past and where they have come from, if they never spoken the words and actions of a true progressive, pass them by, say no thank you to their word-salad bullshit. If they cannot articulate in words you cannot easily understand, don't be blaming yourself thinking they are so much smarter then you. They are not, they are only conning you, with "If You Cannot Dazzle Them With Brains, Then Baffle Them With Bullshit.

TAX the Wealthy AGAIN! Yes Again we once did at a rate of 90% on everything over the first  $5 Million, and that was when the average person earned an average of $100.00 a week, and that was a decent income.. 

We have done it before. How do you think America built a middle class? It was by paying labor it’s fair share of the profits for their labor. After all it was labor that produced the profits.…

Lincoln once said "Labor precedes profit, for without labor there would be no profit". 

THAT'S HOW WE MADE AMERICA GREAT, BY STOPPING A HAND FULL OF PEOPLE FROM STEALING THE WEALTH FROM LABOR AND THAT OF THE NATION. 

The higher tax rate was there for a reason. It was to control the Wealthy that were never satisfied, when enough was never enough, and to stop the hording of Americans wealth. If they were becoming that wealthy it was because they were not paying their workers what they deserved in the first place and in effect stealing the money from labor, OUR MONEY!

Isn’t time we told them ENOUGH!  give it back!

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO STEAL FROM US ANYMORE!!!

The only thing stopping it, is us…we need to find “us” again, and end the division to be a UNION of people.

Rather than fighting about what we disagree on let's work together on the things we do agree on.

We will find that we agree on the idea, but not the way to achieve it. Once you agree on the idea, the how is now the easiest part of the concept, rather than just dismissing the concept entirely.

Say for instance you want a fire for some heat and only have one log, but I want to use a match, and light it on a windy beach because it is pretty. You want to use the rubbing of two sticks together in a protected communal space, and someone else wants to go to their house and use their fireplace, and when they feel like it maybe have one or two people they like come in to warm up. So rather than just giving up and everyone freezing, you talk to each other and work it out. I know that this is an over simplification, but you get the idea, you all agree on the concept, it's just working out the how in a way that benefits everyone the best.

When a politician gives you this lofty word-salad of, "If we all work together to overcome our differences and put aside our ideas, we can accomplish so many wonderful things, we will be able to BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA we can  get there... just walk away. They are out for only themselves. When Someone else Suddenly panders to you with the ideas of someone else saying what is popular, while never ever having followed that belief before and then changing what they say than blaming you for misunderstanding them...walk away. When Someone just discovered that they are now on the side of what was first brought up by someone else and acting like it is their idea, saying follow me, while the other person is still there, and they keep changing their idea to match the other person with the ideas... why would you want the copy when the original is right in front of you?

GOOD TIME FOR TRUMP TO BUY THE DIP....AGAIN!

For no apparent reason Trump comes out and says that he wants to put long range missiles in Asia, and Australia pushing China to respond, and thus the markets, but nothing of much happened with the market, it just seemed to brush it off.

 Then he announces that China will be buying more American Farm produce... still nothing. "The boy who cried wolf", was not working, because Trump also said that he was going to buy the farmers votes,... I mean going to give the farmers 25 Billion in aid to compensate for their losses in China revenue, but to the markets that was a loss. Why, because Trump was now taking any revenue from the tariffs, which that's where it must come from, and paying the farmers, so now wall street couldn't cash in on any of the tariff money.

 The Plunge protection team held the market's to slow steady losses. The very next day Trump for no apparent reason said that he was now going to put tariffs on the remaining 300 billion in China exports into America, and China announced that they would NOT BUY ANY American Farm products at all. 

The markets now reacted badly at the news. Trump let it fester, for the weekend and into Monday, after the close of the markets, Trump then out of nowhere says he will delay the tariffs until October...Can you guess what happened?  The markets go back up. 

That would be a great time to buy the dip, first you cause the dip then you buy low and sell high. 

Now this is the long range problem for American farmers. Once that farm market is lost, it most likely will be lost for years or decades, if ever to return, because China is now or already has replaced the farm imports with other nations. They are  not about to just drop the new markets in a week or two or even a few years, because of the unstableness Trump has created. Unless Trump intends to continue to give the farmers 25 billion dollars a year or more, they are permanently screwed out of those markets.

The destruction to the American farmer...priceless.

The income to anyone who buys the dip? We don't know! 

Why, because in 2012 Obama signed into law S. 2038 banning any member of congress from using their position from doing just that because of Tom Delay basically running an trading desk out of his office. You see when Martha Stewart did it it was insider trading when congress did it by knowing how the markets would be effected by the laws they passed, it was ok. The only problem 13 months after making it illegal, the Obama administration reversed parts of it with S716. It now removed the public disclosure and only to disclosure to congress if requested by congress.

TRUMP IS PLAYING AMERICA LIKE A CASINO, AND BETTING AGAINST THE HOUSE!!!

If we could only see his tax records... 

 Or the deals he has made with other "Friendly to Trump" Heads of state, we could possible find that he is doing exactly what the banks did in 2007.

They took out massive diversities bets that the toxic sub-prime loans that they knew would fail, because they were designed to fail and bet that they would fail while telling everyone that they were a "SAFE" Investment.

Why else would Trump be using one of his age old tactics of telling everyone in spite of the obvious that the US economy is the greatest it has ever been, then proceeding to undermine it at every turn.

Using tariffs, which is a Tax on the American people when we have no domestic means of producing the products he is putting tariffs on. The choice to buy American is not there, so there nothing to protect.

He keeps telling us that we will have a deal with China any day while not working anything out, and limiting the meetings to less time then a business lunch.

The last great blunder is he pushes the fed to lower interest rates after the Dow lost nearly 1000 points on his last threats.

He claimed that China was manipulating it's currency, when the ratio of the dollar to the Yuan dropped 7 to 1, when the reality is China actually stopped propping up the Yuan and that is why it fell to a 7 to 1 ratio. Why is that important... because then Trumps Tariffs (Tax on the American people) would go away, making their goods cheaper negating the tariffs. 

The next day the markets go up, and that same day after markets close, he puts even more "tariffs" on China doing exactly what is causing the market instability, and sends an aircraft carrier to the south China Sea, further poking China in the eye.

These are not the actions of good faith negotiations these are tactics of a bully.

China is not Iran, or Venezuela, they are not a country to be underestimated.

When Trump went after Huawei by having Goggle cutting off their operating system thinking it would take years for them to develop another one Huawei had already a working system even better than Goggle.

Then Trump pressured American Chip makers cut off by not selling chips to Huawei, thinking it would take years replace the chips...Huawei had already developed their own chips.

The only people hurt by Trumps games was American Companies, for now Huawei didn't need them anymore, and the loss of business to America was now permanent, rather then just a temporary threat.

Apple, Goggle and Android lost dominance in the market over night.

If you don't know about the "Long March" in China's history you should.

Like I said China is not Iran, or Venezuela, they are not a country to be underestimated.

Unfortunately for the world, Trump has surrounded himself with people Like John Bolton and Mike Pompeio who actually believe and wrote about that America should use a Nuclear war because it is winnable for America.

TRUMP IS BETTING THAT AMERICA FAILS!!!

Then he can RAID and "RID" the system of every social program, like social security, Medicare, Schools, Fire departments, and then privatize everything.

Trump only worships at the alter of money.

We ALL need to stop just going on social media and posting the latest jab at Trump or the latest "Look his orange hair just came off", or calling him the "orange buffoon".  We all need to dig up the story of what he and his administration are doing and tell that story, rather then playing into his game of distraction and deception. For while we all just post the latest trump joke he is up to something else. 

Like the magicians trick watch this hand, while the other hand or the assistant pick your pocket.

Think about it,... Trump is either incredible lucky to have gotten away with all his past dealings in life...

or...

Trump is a Master Con Artist, playing the part of the "Buffoon"

The sooner you all realize Trump is a Master Con Artist and expose him...

the sooner we can, all will stop the con game.

I guess the reality of having 800 military bases around the world has...

I guess spending everything on the military, and cutting spending on the American citizen, like our schools, our medical systems, our citizen paid retirement funds, that you “BORROW” from to give to the military to the point of bankrupting it,… our roads are in shambles, our water systems more often deliver liquids of slow death, rather than liquids of life...

I guess the  constant reports of our drone strikes and bombings and death tolls we help inflict in other countries while saying we can do this in your country which is actually an act of outright aggression...

I guess that sending troops and drones into other countries and claiming we have the right to invade you because we are going after terrorist’s, and when told to leave we either ignore the leaders or then start the regime change chant...

I guess glorifying the newest creation of delivering death on a large scale to millions of people around the world...

I guess using sanctions as a covert military tactic to make other countries bend to our demands while causing the death of thousands of their citizens then blaming them...

Where does the tariff money go?
A tariff is a tax on imported goods.
Like all taxes, it is a source of revenue for the government. The importer pays the tariff to treasury agents when the goods enter our country.

Suppose an importer has a $100 million shipment of aluminum, which is now subject to a 10% tariff.
The importer has to pay $10 million to treasury agents in order to get the aluminum into our country.
The $10 million is deposited into the U.S. Treasury.
The importer would need to charge its U.S. customers $110 million for the aluminum in order to recover this money.

What does the U.S. Treasury do with the tariff money?
Good question. From what I can ascertain, it just goes into a general fund to offset the deficit. There is no specific purpose for the revenue.

The Former USSR Was Failed Capitalism Not Failed Socialism.

When you consider the meaning of the words Socialism and Capitalism The USSR was NEVER a communist social government…. The facts belie the stated meanings in regards to when the USSR collapsed “that it was a failed Socialist government”.

This is the meaning of Socialism

Socialism is a range of economic and social systems characterized by social ownership and democratic control of the means of production as well as the political theories and movements associated with them. Social ownership may refer to forms of public, collective or cooperative ownership, or to citizen ownership of equity.

This is the meaning of Capitalism

Capitalism is a economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, especially as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.

When considered the meanings of capitalism and Socialism then looking at the USSR whose government was controlling the means of production and distribution, it becomes glaringly obvious that the USSR was in actually a hybrid form of capitalism. They were actually replacing the private form of ownership and control with a government form of control and ownership.

OWNERSHIP OF THE MANUFACTURING, THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION WAS CONTROLLED BY THE STATE.  

In the meaning of capitalism replace the word PRIVATE with GOVERNMENT…

Does not that describe what system the USSR was?

The workers had no say in what to produce, when to produce, how to produce, or how to distribute the goods. The Government controlled that. The workers had no say in the pay scale either. There was no social part at all.

It is arguable to say that the former USSR may have started as socialism that quickly became government run capitalism that ended as a less virulent form of fascism…but still another form of capitalism.

 Fascism 

A political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

Therefore it becomes crystal clear that The USSR WAS NOT a Failed Socialist government but in point of fact it was a failed Communist CAPITALIST government.

Consider your next thoughts very carefully as to what current country Exhibit these trait’s today.

What country has the highest income differences?

What country has most of its corporate structures intertwined with its government?

What country has its politics and voting controlled by the corporate structure, as though they were people.

What country allows private corporate entities owning the voting machine software, that when tallies are questioned, they cannot have access to the software because “it is proprietary software”. And hand counts are “ADJUSTED “to match the voting machines, as if somehow the actual ballots were wrong.

What country continually marginalizes the indigenous population and treats them as children and continues to break treaties with the natives, time and time again.

What country impoverishes it’s population to feed a rapacious military industrial complex, so much so it raids the country’s social programs that its citizens paid into, and now told that the government has to cut the citizen paid for programs, in favor of tax breaks to the very corporate structures and corporate owners and CEO’s that fund their elections, control the votes, control nearly 99% of all of its citizens in favor of themselves.

Think carefully,… for the answer once entered into you mind cannot ever be removed…

It will be like an “eternal flame” that never goes out, but only grows with ever increasing awareness.

To Divest.

For those of you that don’t know, Federal law supersedes state law.

Meaning states can make weaker laws than the federal laws but not stronger.

Therefore states do not have the right to ABRIDGE your freedom of speech.

We now have the DCCC threatening who you can do business with, in effect controlling that company by a stealth hostile takeover by the DCCC.

If they are publicly saying this, then what they are saying by omission is that, if they do not like a Democratic candidate that is running against an incumbent Democratic they most likely will receive little to no support.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a good rebuttal and shows this new breed of Progressive Justice Democrats have the People FIRST on their list of who they are working for.

It’s The War Hawks That Tried To Kill The Green New Deal

Why do I say that?

What does that have to do with the green new deal?

Most of our latest military actions involve countries that have rich oil deposits.

Still don’t see the connection…

We have a military that is primarily dependent on OIL.

Oil to build it.

Oil to run it.

We have billions of dollars in future contracts building heavily Oil dependent equipment.

We have trillions of Dollars in deployed Oil dependent military equipment.

The green new deal does not exempt the military from its use of oil.

The Green New Deal Phase in and the planet, does not allow the time for the billions upon Trillions of dollars to replace all of the  fossil fuel dependent WAR machinery. Nor does the country have the resources, or the credit either, now that we have given it all to the 1%, calling them tax cuts for everyone.

The only thing that has ever trickled down for the last 50 years is, that you need an umbrella to avoid the yellow rain.

But the even bigger picture is that without the uses of OIL, WE don’t need to be in most, if not all of these Military actions.

 We no longer need the circle jerk of building up The Military Industrial complex so we can get the Oil on behalf of the Koch Brothers, to power the military, to get the Oil to building up The Military Industrial complex so we can get the Oil on behalf of the Koch Brothers, to power the military, to get the OIL…

So When Did Venezuela Become Our Enemy?

Is this just another case of how did our oil wound up under Iraq’s deserts, or at least according to John Bolton it did?

"It will make a big difference to the United States economically if we could have American oil companies invest in and produce the oil capabilities in Venezuela." -John Bolton

Why isn’t that their electoral process is none of our concerns. Especially now that we spent 2 years blaming Russia and now China for involving themselves in our elections.

As Lee Camp pointed out, Cambridge Analytica, based in Brittan was way more involved, but we never declared them enemy and seized their assets, or try to enact forceful change of their government.

So the Answer to the question is, when Venezuela become our enemy?

2 reasons

1.   It was when the people decided that they did not want their country privatized by a private for profit capitalist. They decided to convert their oil reserves into state owned assets and using the proceeds to benefit all the people. Kind of like Alaska is doing now.

2.   It is just a bonus, to call them a failed socialist state, and then frighten people into thinking Bernie’s bad because he is a Democratic socialist.

Could this be what the so called trade wars are about...? Threaten countries with tariffs and sanctions in order to get what he wants? The cost has and will be a burden on America working class people. Most Americans can’t just buy an American product anymore, due to the decimation of our manufacturing sectors, so we are a captive audience to pay the increases with the tariffs going directly into the government’s general fund., hence because of the nature of our lack of ability to produce domestically, it becomes nothing more than an additional tax on all Americans to the tune of 30% on Solar panels, 25% on steel, 10% on aluminum etc..

The only reason Aluminum is one of the lower tariffs, is because we do not have the bauxite ore in this country

Now the top producers are Venezuela, India, Russia and China... Odd how Trump either has threatened all of these countries with either trade sanctions or tariffs, all while trying to increase sales of American military hardware requiring large amounts Aluminum. (F35,s, rockets etc.) Meanwhile the average American buys very little aluminum, except for beer and soda, in cans.

When the pipeline leaks, and it will... they all do... and it PERMANENTLY, contaminates an Aquifer that supplies the drinking water for most of the central united states, from South Dakota to The gulf of Mexico. What will South Dakota,  Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico do for water them... Truck it in... build a pipeline for water? And where do you think that water will come from you just polluted and removed hundreds of billions of gallons of palatable drinking water from our supply, a supply that is dwindling due to droughts and climate change that this very pipeline will make far worse. The Oil companies have never to date cleaned up any oil spill and returned the contaminated areas to the per-spill condition. Do you really expect them to now do the impossible and clean up something that once contaminated there is nothing you can do to clean it up.

We can live without oil...We can not live without water.

Has anyone talked to or seen Mother nature lately to ask her if she will be able to bail us out and fix the destruction caused after they fill our planet with more toxins...

If you look around the world you will find massive oil contamination that have not yet been cleaned up. Maybe we should get thees answers first before the damage is done.

    Everywhere we look today we are being told of how divided we are as a Nation. In the news we are divided into red states and blue states. In the Press we are divided into supporters of this ideal and detractors of that ideal. In our all-consuming sporting events we are divided into two simplistic groups. No matter what the sport, no matter how many teams are involved, we are divided into winners and losers. But are we? We need to start remembering one thing.

We Are Divided Only If We Let It.

            I find it so very hard to believe that we as a nation can be as divided as we are told we are, day in and day out by the media. How can we be that divided, and still call ourselves Americans? When every day we as schoolchildren, grew up reciting the pledge of allegiance from memory. “I pledge allegiance to the flag and the UNITED states of America…. Yes the United States… How could we have forgotten those simple words? Did we willingly forget, or were we unknowingly forced. It was by these simple words that our parents learned to stand together and found that we all were not that different. If they stood together and worked together they could make life better for themselves and their children. They stood together in the face of adversity and formed trade unions to protect not only their jobs, but also jobs for their children. They grew in numbers to become a powerful force that made corporations and governments listen to their demands. They became a engine for progress for all American workers. Somehow in the 80’s and 90’s, after we were told unions were bad, Unions cost us jobs, unions cost us sales to other countries, the deceitful message started to take hold. We once were the country that leads the world because we had the natural resources, and inventive minds to create goods the world wanted. But we were lied to and convinced that we needed to rid ourselves of unions to compete with other countries to sell our goods. We needed to change our trade polices to compete with the world. But whom did we help? Not us! Oh sure corporations turned larger and larger profits but at what cost. The cost was of more and more lost jobs, here in America, by both union and non-union workers. How did this happen you ask?

Because we became divided.

We allowed politicians to change the laws and removed the very laws that protected our jobs, helped our country grow for years. We were told that American workers were at fault, and we believed it, more wedges, more division. Our corporations were at fault, by not providing it’s work force with the tools they needed to stay on top. Instead American companies took their manufacturing facilities to other countries to hire cheaper labor, and through the changed laws were able to bring it back into this country and avoid tariffs. Before that If it costs $1 in labor to make the item here and $0.50 to make it overseas you had to pay a $0.50 tax to bring it into this country, so why should you go through that expense to build a plant out of the country and have to pay to bring it back into this country. End result was it cost more to do that than manufacture it here in this country. It has gotten to the point that we are very close to being a Banana Republic.  The Definition Of a Banana Republic is: A small country that is economically dependent on a single crop, such as bananas, or a single product, such as tin. It is often governed by a dictator, or officers of the armed forces: “America has begun to take on certain . . . characteristics of a banana republic. In those countries, savings are hoarded rather than invested in productive enterprises” (Richard B. Hoey).  [1]

Last year we Exported Millions in raw material to China and then spent Billions importing finished goods from China. We all know that the quality is poor at best, so the lie that it was good for us as Americans was another lie. Inferior goods, made at the cost of American jobs.

Just think about it for one minute, we were told to re-train in the computer field in the early 90’s because working with our hands was a thing of the past. That the money was to be made with our brains, not our hands. Then now in 2004 those jobs too are now being exported over seas.

Until the early 80’s when unions came under attack a union job was the job everyone wanted. It represented a good wage a stable job and good benefits. A Union job paid a decent wage, as anyone who grew up in a union household can tell you, that you may not have been the richest kid on the block but your family did not lack for anything. Unions had health insurance plans, for their workers and their families, they had retirement accounts. Do you see where this is going? It was the ideas that the unions fought for that later became state labor laws. Why? Because they were not divided, they stood together against corporate interests. Because corporations knew that if they did not at least negotiate with the workers unions that they would all stand together and walk out. And the workers knew that a walk out meant no pay so both sides knew it was in their best interest to talk and compromise.

Soon at the rate things are going the only jobs that will be left in America soon will be Politicians, and Police. The politicians to create the laws to protect the corporations and the police to arrest the rest of us.

We are now told that we need to import our labor because Americans do not want to do the work. We will work but not as slaves.

This next statement needs to be stated in it’s own paragraph.

The wealth of this country is now distributed with 1% of the population controlling 90% of the country’s money. The remaining 10% of the countries wealth is divided amongst the remaining 99% of the population.

You need to understand what I just said so I will repeat it, this time try to understand the gravity of the statement.

Is it any wonder why we have become suspicious of everyone around us? We are like rats in a cage slowly, imperceptibility becoming ever more suspicious of every one else around you and not knowing why. The why is fear, fear that they will take your job, your home, what little you do have.

Is it any wonder how we have become so divided?

As you can see, money has “become the root of all evil” the only way to defeat it is to remove its importance. We need to return to the values of our founding fathers. They knew the power that corporations had wheeled in Europe and wrote protections into the Constitution. The very start read

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. 

            We need to strip the corporations of their ill-gotten power gains. Corporations are not people and should not be accorded the same protections under the Constitution. Remember the First line “We the people”. For years until the late 50’s corporations were not considered a “person”. In fact the Founders were afraid that corporations would grow in strength, and that they would take over the government when they had accumulated enough wealth. That is one reason why a large inheritance tax was instituted, until the late 1890’s. So that great sums of wealth could not be passed on when someone died. It was set up in such a way that the very wealthy could not create a dynasty. Because Dynasty’s have always throughout history have always seized government control, which ultimately lead to that country’s demise. That is why you do not hear about a Washington or a Jefferson Dynasty. Big dynasty’s family names did not start until the late 1800s, because that is when the laws started changing.

Then with their foot in the door the dynasties wealth pushed to change the government checks on corporations so that they could attain even more wealth at a faster rate, swinging away from the ideals the founders had laid down to protect “We the people” In the 1940’s and 50’s corporate laws were slowly changed allowing for further dominance of corporations and even greater wealth to be passed on to the dynastic families who controlled them. Then in the 1980’s that wealth, now controlling the corporations, the corporations began to buy the politicians. Well not outright, but through donations to help their political campaigns. And it all happened because we became distracted with things that were not important just as we are today.

For example there is always some important must see trial on TV. The news pushes it in our face every day and it lasts for months. We didn’t even spend that much time on the trial of Jack Ruby the man who killed Lee Harvey Oswald the person who assonated a sitting president John F. Kennedy. In Fact Kennedy’s assignation received less airtime as a whole than the OJ trials. Its time we just stop the madness. A trial should not take months, and so what if someone you do not know killed his wife. I know it sounds cold, but is it of any importance to you? Will it change your life if you see it? Probably not, but the laws that were changed while you were caught up in the trial that most certainly did. It was the bate and switch, we let it happen.

We let it happen again when so few of us forgot to question we were attacked on 911 on George W. Bush’s watch. We were so quick to blame Clinton for the attack on the USS Coles but somehow gave George a Free pass. Why is that?

Because we forgot that “United we stand, Divided we fall” But some how we have allowed our selves to become divided.

We Are Divided Only If We Let It.

            Do we not all have at heart the same basic common goals? To take care of our family. To provide them food and shelter. To live in peace. To help our friends when they need help because we know that they would help us when we need it. Is not that one of the basic most important goals in our lives? Security? So how are we so different, when at the core we believe in the same things. We are only different because we have been told we are, but we are not. We have allowed ourselves to be divided forgetting…

            There is an old saying that “ we fear that what we do not know”. I think that in this day and age of global communication we need to expand that belief. We now can know the weather on the other side of the globe in an instant. We can see pictures of another planet in minutes, but we forget that we are all different. We live in a different kind of country. We forget that we are like separate countries, with different ideals and goals joined together to give us strength, but allowing us to be different. Now the media continues to hammer away at our differences as if it’s bad. Different doesn’t mean bad; it simply means that we are different. But the media pushes it in a divisive way, when it’s not.

            When you live out in a rural part of the country you just can’t understand why someone needs to spend years in school with book learning, and can’t hunt a deer. The city dweller can’t understand why you would want to hunt the deer in the first place. Different... Yes. Bad… No. The person in the country plants their vegetable garden and cans their food, they take the time to cook a meal from real food not a box marked “Heat and serve” The city dweller buys it from a store, or a fast food place. Different... Yes. Bad… No. Should it divide us?

We Are Divided Only If We Let It.

As a small child our first instinct is to share. How many times is it that we marvel at a baby when we give them a piece of food, when they are no longer hungry they offer it back to us, and we say “isn’t that cute they want to share with us.

We all need to find that child inside of us again. To stand together with our many differences and find that common ground. To reclaim the country bequeath to us, “We the people”, by our Founding Fathers. To rekindle their spirit and remember that this great experiment of a country, governed by the people and for the people can survive. That, “We the people” are America, and we are taking it back from the 1*Neo-cons. Once again. “That we the people” can govern ourselves. Because when “We the people govern ourselves we all do better economically and socially, that we are a nation that the world looks up to for leadership and guidance. That we are the nation where dreams not only come true but where dreams of tomorrow are born. We need to show the world that the great experiment was not in vein that we do remember…

When I see a BUSINESS that has elaborate buildings, and Shiny new equipment every other year I have no problem with that… So long as the wealth that was created by the workers is fairly distributed amongst those that helped, NO not helped, those that actually created the wealth in the first place, by beeing the ones that actually built the products sold.

Just because someone had an idea to make a Car, why should they continue to pay slave wages for the labor that creates THEIR PRODUCT, FOR IF IT WAS NOT FOR LABOR THERE WOULD BE NO CAR TO BEGIN WITH. Do you think that Henry Ford would or could build his Model “T” by himself, and if he did how many cars do you think he would have made if it weren’t for labor. Labor is every bit as important if not more so for without labor to create the item, their items would only be an IDEA, yet to become a Reality.

How much longer must we hold a majority of the labor force captive to near slavery existence, while a hand full of people take the lions share of the profits for themselves.

How much longer do we allow the cannibals to eat our life force, In the name of profit, and give us little to nothing for it? 

When will we realize that we are becoming the CANNIBALS!

STOP AND THINK about that logic You bitch that a union person gets paid an average of $50 bucks an hour with bennies which comes to around $100,000.00 a year and of which they pay 35% in taxes so they actually get to keep $65,000 thousand dollars…well not exactly $65,000, don’t forget part of that $65,000 is their cost of healthcare which is paid directly to the insurance company. So when all is said and done they wind up with about $55,000… FOR ONE YEAR!!!

BUT YOU NEVER BITCH, that the Ceo’s of these companies making $5 million, $10 million, or in the case of William McGuire who took home a 1.7 Billion in just one bonus for one year... that's $6,538,461. a day. Yes that's not a typo I said 6 and a half MILLION dollars a day.  Did I mention that "Will" was a Ceo for an insurance company?

The only responsibility of his company has is to pay your doctor…he sells medical insurance and gets $6 1/2 million bucks a day, and tells you that your Brest cancer isn't covered, "Pre-existing" thing you know.

No outrage there, but that dam union guy making $50 bucks an hour needs to be drawn and quartered.

Now how can you justify your anger at a union wage, when the very same talking heads that are condemning a union salary of $400 bucks a day while they get paid $7,693 dollars a day to “READ The NEWS”. That's  an hour The days of Cronkite and Mural actually finding and writing the tough investigative news on things that matter other than what blond girl is missing are gone on most mainstream news.

You become a cannibal, every time you go to Communist Red China’s outlet store, WALL-MART, which led the way to off-shoring American Jobs.

If you come up with any other answer than the same, you are well on your way to becoming a cannibal. 

So With that in mind if you think that you can be more valuable then the old guy selling you your coffee and roll, then you must be less valuable then your boss, and when will it be acceptable to have your lungs and heart cut out to “Donate” to your sick boss?

Brown made no bones about saying that if he was elected he would vote to kill the current Health care bill... and just maybe that is exactly what a large part of the voters wanted, now that the bill had no "Single Payer" like Medicare, or "Public Option", that in all polls show that over 70% of the country wants.
